Funny, week after this incident, a manager at my local McDonald’s made me wait for 5 mins and then hid in the back after telling me I could not receive the sale being advertised on the ‘billions served’ sign outside. Mind you I was trying to spend money, not requesting free handouts. Maybe I should have employed the negotiation tactic of cursing and throwing restaurant property at her and her staff. If my corporate service experience taught me anything, it was that these two degenerates certainly called the corporate hotline and received an apology and at the very least, a $100 giftcard. Why did the manager and employees just stand there and continue to get assaulted? Can’t call the police to protect your property and the physical well being of your customers and staff; unless you want to be fired and shamed by the mainstream media global internet complex. Is this corporate protocol in 2019? Would love to hear from current service managers. Sadly, we’re all being conditioned to ubiquitously reward bad behavior.
Is Colorado the new California? In terms of last century’s politics, yes. As California adopts the 21st century liberalism of the third world, their more bougie residents are literally heading for the hills of Reno, Boise, Austin, and Denver. It was CO, not CA, that pioneered recreational marijuana legalization in 2012. CO is in the midst of a business boom fueled by disgruntled blue state refugees, fracking, and recreational pot. Real Estate prices have increased 100% in some areas this decade. The average price of a residential single family home in nearby Boulder, the former liberal capital of CO, is $1,000,000, and Boulder is about as hip as San Francisco these days. Two years ago, CO residents received a tax refund check thanks to an obscure law that prevents the state government from hoarding tax revenue surpluses. CO tax revenues are so rich, they even considered statewide single payer healthcare last election cycle. Now Denver is attempting to lap the left coast once again by becoming the first city to decriminalize hallucinogenic mushrooms. Obviously, this is to the chagrin of whatever is left of the ranching/farming/hunting culture. CO is a deepening blue state capitalizing on innate natural resources, excellent timing, and their neighbor’s mistakes, but will their economic success last? Will legalizing shrooms continue to increase social costs like refugee homelessness, blamed largely on the attractiveness of a liberal city with recreational pot? Or is CO a shining 21st century example the rest of the country should follow?
Vice attempted to look into the sun with a recent video pitting a right wing conspiracy, black conservatives, vs their liberal counterparts. The video was edited much too short to only feature soundbites and discord amongst the two groups. I agree with some of the comments, the segment should have been longer, and furthermore, more videos should be uploaded that promote a conversation amongst diverse groups and views instead of promoting the same mainstream stereotypes that are later blamed for division. Hard to show opinions you don’t agree with or dislike and most news programs display that everyday. If Vice wants to stay young, hip, and fresh they need to not fall in the same monotony tar pits as their msm dinosaur brethren.
Is he or did I miss something? Most these songs they’re playing are 15 plus years old.
“The recommended timing of administration of the first dose of hepatitis B vaccine to infants has evolved since then to optimize prevention of perinatal and early childhood HBV infections. In 1991, the first dose was recommended to be administered at birth before hospital discharge or at age 1-2 months.”
Recently saw a modern interpretation of the 4th dimension and thought it was very poor. So bad, I almost forgot what it was! I had to go dig up the classic Sagan clip that’s 50 something years old, and it’s aging like fine wine. My hypothesis is that every reality is completed by 3 dimensions so the 4th dimension is just one leg of the 3 dimension cube that is surrounded by infinite 3 dimension cubes like a Russian doll with our world in the center.
Watching a rare primetime regular season network hockey game and noticed there is a female color commentator working the game. Why have all the leagues and networks pushed this agenda only to relegate women to color? Broadcasters first and foremost need effective voices to communicate, it’s essential for play by play calls, and color is supposed to be a more nontraditional ex player role meant to add insight, levity, and context. How can a female broadcaster accomplish any of these when they’re not an active or former league player, and are silent 75% of the time, only speaking when told, by her more dominant male play by play partner. The silences are awkward and it’s almost like someone gives them a signal to speak. It’s bad broadcasting any way you slice it and makes for a lesser product. MLB on espn makes a flirty former softball player the literal third wheel adding to the unprofessionalism. Last week’s NHL allstar game in San Jose featured plenty of virtue signalling, including a ‘girls can skate too’ feature followed by a ‘our minority players can talk’ post game show that immediately digressed into jokes regarding racial genitalia stereotypes. Either unleash the girls and hold them to the same standards as everyone else or stop pushing your halfhearted virtue signals on everyone, it’s obvious nobody wants this product except for your fear of offending someone somewhere.
